The Beatles在1962年走紅之前，有一支英國團Johnny Kidd & The Pirates(強尼凱德與海盜)在1960年率先以一曲 "Shakin' All Over" 揚名搖滾樂壇。

 

Johnny Kidd & The Pirates的原唱版本拿到英國冠軍榜，五年後加拿大搖滾樂團 The Guess Who 的翻唱版不僅在加拿大拿到冠軍並且打入美國熱門歌曲榜第22名。

 

可惜 Johnny Kidd(1935-1966) 在 "Shakin' All Over" 之後就沒有出色作品，1966年不幸車禍身亡後，這支樂團也漸被世人遺忘了。
